Moodle Migration

Welcome to the Moodle Migration Wiki

In 2008, Workforce Development Team has upgraded the Moodle to the latest version onto a new and powerful computer. Many staff have already started classes this term on the new Moodle server and moved existing courses across. The new Moodle server will be fully operational from 2009 and the existing old Moodle server will be be de-commissioned at the end of term 1, 2009.

So it is time to think about transferring any courses you may have on the old server over to this one in the next 3 months. This Moodle Migration Wiki will provide you instructions and demonstration how to transfer your course materials from the old Moodle to the new Moodle. For a basic course this should not take more than a few hours.

Assistance for staff to do this between now and the end of semester II, 2008, you can contact your local campus Learning Technology Mentor, Moodle Administrators on +612 9710 5886 and/or Paulis Cheung om +612 9217 4297 from Workforce Development Team.
